Our “modular content” recruitment Video Production approach
When we work with your company, we bring our “Modular Content” system with us. By interviewing key employees, and capturing a range of B-Roll during the day, we’re able to create and deploy multiple pieces of content from that same shoot. Gone are the days of paying for one video. We’re here to give you that video, spotlights of each person who was on camera, social media cutouts of key services, and a bunch of polished, edited photos - so that whatever your goal, you have the perfect content to support it!
By gathering a series of key interviews we are able to create a company overview that you can drive prospective employees to as a cornerstone piece of content on your website.
From these key interviews and B-Roll we can develop a series of videos that support your company’s goals and mission to re-enforce your company’s story to prospective employees, like this video highlighting women in landscaping.
Knowing that you have dozens of stories to be told; we are then able to highlight whomever we captured on camera to develop a focused employee spotlight - as well as cut 10 to 15 second social media reels out of each video to fill your social channels and recruitment advertising to allow for a more granular recruitment effort. Two days of content should yield dozens of pieces of content that you can leverage and deploy as part of your modular recruitment campaign.

Step 2: Pre-Production Planning
Development & Logistics: With nearly a decade of experience working with companies of all sizes, Windwood has successfully planned and executed hundreds of shoots, creating thousands of video assets from on-site b-roll to interviews. Our creative team collaborates closely with you or your marketing department to ensure all pre-production tasks are handled efficiently. From crew scheduling to shot lists, we prioritize open communication, so everything runs smoothly on shoot day.

Step 1: Discovery
Meeting/Phonecall: Just like finding the perfect hire, a successful recruitment campaign starts with alignment. We begin with a meeting or phone call, typically lasting 30 to 60 minutes, to ensure we’re aligned on goals and expectations. During this time, we discuss your recruitment needs, learn about your company’s culture, and identify key employees or topics to highlight in the video. Our goal is to uncover authentic stories that will resonate with prospective candidates.
We work closely with you to develop a strategy that captures the content you need while minimizing disruptions to your day-to-day operations. We’ll also cover logistics, such as turnaround times and content output, so you know exactly what to expect from start to finish. Step 4: Post-Production
Putting It All Together: Unlike typical freelancers, we employ full time post production professionals to ensure our post production timelines stay reliable even when we’re busy. What sets Windwood apart is our ability to pair the people who were on the shoot conducting interviews with our full time editors to ensure the message stays true to what was captured on the day.
We typically stick to a 2 to 3 week turnaround with an included round of revisions to ensure we’re not missing anything. We will deliver review links via unlisted youtube link, and then once the project has been approved we send a final google drive download link so you have access to your files.
Step 3: Production
The Fun Part: On a typical shoot day, our experienced crew arrives at 8 a.m., fully equipped with cameras, audio gear, lights, drone, and everything needed to capture recruitment content. We usually connect with the project lead or an on-site contact to coordinate the day’s schedule and location setup for interviews and B-roll shots.

“Spirit of Adventure” HIRING CAMPAIGN
As a Concord, New Hampshire-based video production company, we were thrilled to partner with Dover-based NEMO Equipment to help share their unique company spirit as part of a new hiring campaign. Collaborating closely with their marketing and HR teams, we crafted three distinct videos that highlighted their core hiring differentiators: 'Founder Owned,' 'Spirit of Adventure,' and 'Living in New Hampshire.' Windwood was a unique fit in that we were able to leverage our knowledge of New Hampshire and the surrounding area to craft videos that authentically spoke to what the work/life balance is like in our home state.

The success of this campaign led to an ongoing partnership, and a year later, we were invited back to embed with the NEMO team to capture the excitement and camaraderie of their annual company trip to Choate Island. This project exemplified our ability to authentically showcase a brand’s culture and values while supporting their recruitment efforts - as well as our ability to seamlessly integrate with the our friends on the NEMO Team for an extended trip out on an island adventure!
