We can also handle casting and location scouting, as well as detailed post production services like color grading and exporting for TV and OTT channels. Windwood’s STORY-FIRST PROCESS

Step 1: Share Your Vision

  • Initial Consultation/Discovery: Start by telling us about your vision! Whether it’s a brand anthem, product feature, or campaign launch, we’ll collaborate with your key stakeholders to understand your goals. This is typically a one hour free video call or in person consultation to discuss the project and see if Windwood is the right fit.

  • Next Steps: Once we have a solid understanding of your project, we’ll follow up with a estimated budget range based on rough concepts and a loose timeline. After mutual agreement, we’ll move into step 2 - pre production.

Step 2: Pre-Production Setup

  • Creative Concepting: Windwood’s in-house creative team will dive headfirst into creative development, brainstorming concepts, visual styles, and messaging that align with your brand and target audience. This can either be done siloed, or with input from your own creative team, scheduling intervalled meetings for us to work on creative, and come back to the table to finalize ideas that fit within the timeline and expected budget. We typically use Milanote for our project mapping and vision and we can share ideas within that app!

  • Casting and Locations: Our team handles casting, ensuring talent that embodies your brand’s voice, once we have a good portfolio of casting choices and locations we present them to you to choose who you best think will fit the project. Additionally, we’ll coordinate permits, drone approvals, and schedule all logistics for a seamless shoot day - keeping you in the loop throughout.

Step 3: Production

  • Bringing the Vision to Life: Team Windwood arrives for every shoot day with all equipment, handling setup, lighting, and direction. Whether you prefer to have company representatives on site or let us handle it - We create a SAFE, professional, organized environment so you can relax and focus on the end product. Our team has been working together crafting stories for years, so our on-set attitude is capable, but fun and engaged. Never yelling, never stressed, never blaming - we invite you and your team to be a part of Team Windwood during our shoot day. (We’ll bring the bagels)

  • Adaptability: We’re experienced with on-location shoots and studio setups, and often come to expect expect sunrises, and sunsets. We bill for full days at 8 hours or extended days at 12 hours depending on the complexity of each shoot day.

 

Step 5: Final Delivery

  • Delivery: Upon approval, your final video is delivered via a secure, downloadable link - we prefer google drive but can work with whatever your preferred infrastructure is, giving you complete flexibility for sharing and distribution. We also can implement a modular content delivery to fill multiple channels (Vertical, square, horizontal, social re-cuts, etc.) to ensure that we’re creating projects that live on all of your preferred channels.

  • Ongoing Support: If you need assistance preparing your content for social media, web, or other platforms, we stay in touch to act as a resource to help optimize for maximum reach and impact.

Step 4: Post-Production & Refinement

  • Editing and Effects: Our full time in house post production team brings the footage to life, handling everything from color grading to sound design. We aim to send a first draft within 2-3 weeks, depending on project scope. With the right blend of edits and polish, we’ll create a cinematic piece ready for any screen. Our hope is that it mirrors our rigorous pre-production planning so that there are no surprises, but there are opportunities to make the project pop once we have all materials gathered.

  • Revision Process: You’ll have the opportunity to review and request adjustments to ensure the final product meets your expectations. We include a complimentary revision for any fine-tuning needed and a tight revision edit window to ensure we’re not languishing on that one clip that needs to be adjusted.

CASE STUDY: HOLY ROSARY CREDIT UNION

When a trusted New Hampshire credit union with over 40 years of dedication to its members needed a series of commercial videos to align with their refreshed branding, they turned to Windwood Productions.

This summer, Windwood Productions had the privilege of partnering with Holy Rosary Credit Union (HRCU) to bring their brand relaunch campaign to life. Tasked with creating a suite of impactful video and photo assets, we collaborated closely with the HRCU team to ensure the campaign reflected their renewed vision and values.

Our work included scripting, casting, and scouting the perfect locations to capture the essence of their brand. The centerpiece of the campaign was a dynamic brand anthem video, complemented by a collection of additional photo and video assets tailored for multi-platform deployment. Together, these pieces formed a cohesive narrative that celebrates HRCU’s commitment to its community while reinforcing their refreshed brand identity.

VIDEO PRODUCTION
We partnered with the marketing team at HRCU to bring their commercial concept to life. Highlighting their deep-rooted connection to the community, we worked with local partners to secure locations to showcase the supportive and uplifting spirit that defines their organization. Filming at carefully selected locations, including HRCU’s Rochester headquarters we created a series of videos and delivered a suite of rich media content that not only elevated their brand relaunch but also provided versatile assets they continue to deploy across their channels long after the initial campaign.

CONCEPT/SCRIPTING
We collaborated closely with HRCU's marketing team to develop a thoughtful script and creative concept that captured the essence of their brand relaunch - As well as allowing for multiple focused pieces of content to be spun out from our production effort. From brainstorming themes to crafting compelling narratives, we met with HRCU once a week for two months to ensure the content reflected HRCU’s core values of community, trust, and growth. This collaborative process laid the foundation for a cohesive campaign that aligned with their refreshed brand identity.

EDITING/NEW MEDIA CREATION
Using a modular editing approach, we transformed footage from HRCU's brand relaunch shoot into multiple impactful social media videos. For HRCU, the themes we developed centered around their key messaging pillars: "Community," highlighting their dedication to fostering strong local connections; "Service," showcasing their exceptional commitment to member support; and "Growth," emphasizing their role in helping members achieve their financial goals throughout generations. These versatile assets allowed HRCU to effectively engage their audience across various digital platforms.

    We understand plans can change. While full cancellations within a shoot window may forfeit the deposit, we’re always flexible in finding a reschedule option that meets your needs. Our goal is to deliver a final product you’ll love, on a timeline that works for you.
